The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) was presented with a generous donation of £2,420 from Keith Abel, General Manager, Northern Ireland Health Group (NIHG). The money was raised from a charity golf tournament held by staff at NIHG. Joe Lusby, Western Trust Deputy Chief Executive, thanked NIHG and all who took part in the charity golf tournament for the generous donation. He said: “On behalf of the staff at the Coronary Care Unit, Erne Hospital, I would like to say a huge thank you to Keith Abel at NIHG and all who helped raise money through the charity event. This is a generous donation which will be used to purchase a Double Pressure Relieving mattress which will be invaluable for patients in the Coronary Care Unit.” Keith Abel, General Manager, NIHG commented: "We were keen that any surplus from the Golf Day would be donated to a worthy cause within the Western Trust our partner in the new Acute Hospital for the South West. We're delighted the funds are being used in such an excellent way within the Coronary Care Unit." |
